Eric’s career spans more than four decades in clinical, university, government, and non-profit settings. He was previously President/CEO of the Council of Canadian Academies, Founding Director of the Indiana University Center for Bioethics, Executive Director of the US National Bioethics Advisory Commission, Bioethics Director of the ELSI Program of the Human Genome Project. His research interests are in ethical and policy issues in research, international health, genomics, and governance.
